Where Reality Meets Fantasy

This song is hilarious! I really do think it’s a catchy song but it’s nothing new that I haven’t heard before. The beat sounds generic. And the lyrics are dreadful. But I think the worst thing about this song is the Auto-Tune. Her voice sounds really pitchy and scratchy. 

The lyrics in this song are terrible. Nothing else to say. The worst part about the lyrics is the repetition. She repeats the last word of every verse two times and it’s annoying. And in the chorus, she repeats, “Etta-etta-etta-etta-eh” a gazillion times. It was actually laughable.

And there’s a part where she moans and stuff. Pretty creepy and weird if you ask me. I’m actually surprised at how I found this song. But then again, it doesn’t matter because I’m not going to download/listen to it frequently.

“L-U-V Madonna!” So Madonna’s new song is released this fucking Friday! Lol… I’m as excited as I was for the release of “Born This Way” one year ago! ^_^ But the demo sounds atrocious. I mean, the song does sound cool and catchy, but it sounds poorly written. With simple lyrics like, “Let’s forget about time and dance our lives away,” or “We can drink some wine… Let’s drink the bottle every drop.” Or the constant cheerleading chants/spelling (“Y-O-U!!”). Like something that Ke$ha or Britney Spears would sing or write. And the auto-tune! Don’t get me started on that! Lol… But maybe Madonna is trying a different angle? Maybe she’s trying to get younger people to listen to listen to her music. After all, it’s been three years since she last released a song (“Revolver” in 2009.) Ha! I feel like a reporter! But the official song might be better and will feature Nicki Minaj and some other rapper (which might be part of the whole “attract younger people” thing).
